Hershey's and Harrah's to Promote 2007 World Series of Poker

On February 5, 2007, the Hershey Company, maker of Hershey's chocolate, announced that they are launching a partnership with Harrah's License Company LLC, an affiliate of Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. to promote the World Series of Poker Main Event.

As part of the promotion, consumers will have the chance to win seats to the poker tournament. In turn, Harrah's has named Hershey's chocolate the official chocolate of the World Series of Poker of 2007.

According to Jeffrey Pollack, the commissioner of the World Series of Poker, they are proud that Hershey has joined their growing family of sponsors. Pollack further stated that they are very pleased that the number one chocolate brand has teamed up with the number one poker tournament.

Hershey will begin exclusive consumer promotion that will award 2 sweet seats to play poker at the tournament's main event. The promotion is scheduled to start from April to June 2007 in United States.

Over 20,000 of Hershey's product line of standard chocolates will feature the World Series of Poker logo and sweepstakes of sweet seats.
