Phil Hellmuth to Host a Poker Tournament for TASER Foundation

On November 21st, 2007, it was announced that the Beauty and the Bet Poker Event benefiting the TASER Foundation will take place on December 1st, 2007. Know in the circuit as the "Poker Brat", Phil Hellmuth has no problem calling attention to himself with his grand entrances at top class poker tournaments, berating co-players and his talent of dodging criticisms. Whether his talent or personality, Hellmuth is a veritable crowd drawer in every poker event.

The event will be held at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas. Some of the participants in the event are Playboy Playmates like Sarah Elizabeth, Stephanie Heinrich, Alison Waite AND Stacy Fusion. There are two no-limit holdem events participants can enjoy. The first event will start at noon and it has a $500 buy-in cost.

There are available re-buys for $500 each until the initial break in the contest, with a single add-on for $250 dollars by the end of the rebuy period. The high roller poker event will start at 5:00 p.m. and has a $2,500 buy-in cost with rebuys until the initial break time and another add on after that time for $1,250.

About 50% of the cash produced from the buy-in costs, rebuys and add-ons will be allocated for the player money pool. The top three finishers in both events will participate in the final table.

The last six players will celebrate with Hellmuth and the Playboy Playmates at a VIP booth in the Playboy Club but the only the champion will get the two tickets for the Super Bowl XLII tickets as well as invitation for Playboy's Super Saturday Night Party.

TASER Foundation main goal is to give financial and educational support to the families of police officers that lost their lives while performing their duty.
