Poker pro Erik Seidel finished in 7th place at the $1,500 Pot Limit Event. Seidel won a total of $24,919 .

Brian Lemke edge out Fabian Quoss to take hime a total of $692,658. Lemke said that he is very happy and proud of his win.

Pokerlistings writers are doing very well at the WSOP $1,500 NLHE tournament. Blogger Olle Sundin is currently holding a 240K chip stack while Martin Derbyshire is holding 100,000 in total chips.

Poker legend Cyndy Violette will host an online poker event at Full Tilt poker. The event will benefit three charities including the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.

Vitaly Lunkin won a total of $445,709 for his PokerStars Russian Poker Circuit Moscow Event. Lunkin defeated an all-Russian table to win the title.

Jean 'Prince' Gaspard won the Bayou Poker Challenge, taking home a total of $211,722. Gaspard and Ken Christopher and Billy Kopp decided to split the pot money among themselves.

The Golden Nugget will be hosting the Grand Poker Series starting on June 6th, 2009 until July 5th, 2009. Director John Colville said that they are proud to host the series for the 2nd time.

25 Main Event champions will play against one another at the WSOP Champions Invitational on May 31st, 2009. 2004 Main Event champion Greg Raymer said that he cannot wait to compete with his peers.

Cricket Legends Shane Warne and Darren Gough will captain poker teams from Australia and UK at the 2009 Poker Ashes. Both sides state that they are looking forward playing against each other.

Poker player Ashton Griffin triumphs at the Full Tilt Poker $25K Heads-Up World Championship. Griffin defeated David Benefield in the heads-up showdown to take home $551,250.

The WSOP Casino Employees events will begin on March 30th, 2009 at exactly 12:00 noon. The event is considered a closed tournament in the WSOP aside from the Ladies No-Limit Holdem and Senior event.
