Justin Young and his fellow poker players participatged at a Charity Poker Tournament on July 23rd, 2009. The main beneficiary of the tournament is the Homestead at Boulder City.

Well-known poker pro Johnny Chan will be participating in the Asian Poker Tour Macau. Aside from Macau, the APT will have stops in Singapore and the Philippines.

The Bicycle Casino will host a Celebrity Invitational Poker Event on July 29th, 2009. Aside from that, the casino will host the Legends of Poker event which will start on July 28th, 2009.

APPT Macau will be held at the PokerStars Macau Poker Room in Grand Lisboa beginning on August 25th, 2009-August 30th, 2009. Well-known poker pro Joe Hachem will participate in the event.

PokerStars transferred EPT Moscow to the Ukrainian capital of Kiev because of legal reasons. EPT Kiev will begin on August 18th, 2009.

Danny Chevalier won the ANZPT Queenstown Poker Championship on July 25th, 2009. He won a total of NZD $87,435.
