The Iron Man Poker Challenge of Full Tilt Poker

On July 29th, 2008, Full Tilt Poker Iron Man Challenge event just got bigger and more advantageous for players. The challenge now features the Iron Man Plus or a mid-year bonus and a single day freeroll. The Iron Man Plus was made to reward poker players who perform well beyond the previous qualifications of the Iron man. Poker player who have earned more than two hundred Full Tilt Points needed to reach the Iron Man qualification can now receive an additional bonus.

Those players who have earned five hundred or more points in a single day during the month will receive an Iron Man medals that can be use in an Iron Man store. If a poker player gets five hundred points in a day, the player will receive a pair of medals. If the player gets one thousand points in a day, the player will receive 3 medals. Players will receive five medals for 1,500 points, ten medals for two thousand points and an additional one thousand will earn players ten medals. Full Tilt is also featuring a bonus for those players that aiming to be an Iron man.

The mid year bonus is set to be calculated and given by the end of this month and players will immediately notice an extra cash on their accounts in August. For every single month that the player reaches the Iron Man status, they will be given a bonus equivalent of that level. For the bronze status-$25, silver status-$50, gold-$75 and Iron Man-$100. So if a player reaches the silver status for three succeeding months for this year and the Iron Man status for three succeeding months, they will receive a payout of $450 in August. It is still not clear from the online site of Full Tilt Poker will start over in August and will end on January 2009 and give payouts to players by February.

The 3rd feature of the Iron Man Challenge is the single day freeroll. The $2000 freeroll will take place by the end of the month and those players that have qualified will be the only one that will be allowed to join. In order to qualify, a player needs to get at least 1 FTP every for the month.

If a player misses a single day, they will not be eligible to participate at the freeroll. If the player is eligible to participate in the freeroll but they do not want to participate, they can exchange their ticket for fifteen Iron Man medals.
