World Poker Tour Debuts Their Fifth Televised Season

One of the main leaders in the poker tournament industry, the WPT Enterprises Incorporated, announced on March 28, 2007 that the TV premiere of the 5th season of the World Poker Tour will be broadcast on Wednesday, April 4, 2007, on the Travel Channel(TM) along with the launch of the Mirage Poker Showdown's new season.

Launching a brand new poker season to poker enthusiasts around the country, the World Poker Tour will show an exciting new atmosphere, outlook, action and even new Poker millionaires.

The 5th season will also make major history for the World Poker Tour, which has already given out around $300 million in winnings, has created around 70 poker millionaires, forged partnerships with 13 casinos all over the world and licensed the WPT show to about 150 countries and territories all around the globe.
