The PokerStars EPT Grand Final Event

The first day of the 2009 PokerStars European Poker Tour Grand Final begins on April 28th, 2009 at 12:00 noon CEST. Card Player will be providing the live coverage of the tournament. There will also a European Poker Tour live video feed on CardPlayer.com during the last 2 days of the tournament. A massive playing field is expected to join the season 5 of the Grand Final.

Last year, Glen Chorny from Canada edged out of 842 poker players to take home 2,020,000 euros in prize money. Poker pro Denes Kalo finished in 2nd place, taking home 1,179,000 euros. If the 1,178 poker players who just entered the European Poker Tour San Remo tournament are any indication, this year's final should surpass 1,000 poker players and create the biggest cash pool in European poker tournament history.

The Day 1 A will be on April 28th, 2009-game play 8 levels, Day1B on April 29th, 2009-game play 8 levels, Day 2 on April 30th, 2009-6 levels, Day 3 on May 1st, 2009-play down to thirty-two players, Day 4 on May 2nd, 2009-play down to 8 poker players and on May 3rd,
