Paddy Power Poker Sponsors the Irish Winter Festival

On April 11th, 2008, following the heels of the very successful Irish Poker Open, PaddyPower Poker have publicly announced that they will be holding the Irish Winter Festival. The event will start on October 25th, 2008 and it will end on October 27th, 2008. The main event of the poker tournament will be the Irish Masters which will feature a cash pool of 1,000,000 euros and with a 1,500 euros+150 euros.

This no limit holdem poker event can accommodate around eight hundred players at the Citywest Hotel. The Citywest Hotel is the host for this year's Irish Poker Open. Some of the best poker players around the world as well as Irish Players. There is also two hundred euros and twenty euros rebuy event and a five hundred euros+fifty euros freeze out event, which will be held at the same day.

Paddy Power, the communications manager for Paddy Power Poker said that they are very happy to sponsor the eight annual Irish Winter Festival. He added that players can be rest assured that they will do everything to make sure that the event will be successful. Interested players can qualify for these events by joining qualifying events at Paddy Power Poker.

Aside from that, players can also buy in directly into the satellite events for $200 +$20 via the daily qualifier for $15. The champion at the event will get a prize package worth $3,500, which will also include travel costs.
