The Irish Poker Classic Tournament on August 11th, 2008

On August 3rd, 2008, the Macau Sporting Club's 6th yearly Irish Poker Classic Festival will have 165 participants pre-registered for the 1,500 euros+100 euros poker main event which will include local and international players like Annette Obrestad, Rumit Somaiya, Dara Kearney, Mick McCloskey and others. The event will start on August 11th, 2008 and will end on August 17th, 2008.

Players will have adequate time to qualify online for the 150,000 euros guaranteed main event. There are $2 turbo feeders on Betfair at 12:30 a.m., 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., guaranteeing 2 slots to the weekly final on August 2nd, 2008 and August 9th, 2008 at 9:30 p.m. From these weekly poker finals four slots are guaranteed to the $250 grand final on August 10th, 2008, Sunday at 7:30 p.m. The grand final guarantees 5 $2,500 packages to the main event in Cork.

Poker players can also qualify for Green Joker Poker for only $11 in the daily rebuy poker events at 8:00 p.m. which will allow players to participate to the $109 grand finals on August 3rd, 2008 and August 10th, 2008 at 9:30 p.m. There is one slot guaranteed in each of the remaining satellite events worth 1,600 euros. The full-line up of the Irish Poker Classic is August 11th, 2008-Mega super satellite no-limit holdem one rebuy or add-on one hundred euros+ ten euros. August 12th, 2008-Short-handed no limit holdem freezeout two hundred euros+20 euros.

August 13th, 2008-Ladies event no-limit holdem freezeout 150 euros+15 euros. August 13th, 2008-Pot Limit Omaha-one rebuy or add during levels 1/2/3 three hundred euros+30 euros. August 14th, 2008-Mega Bonus super satellite Irish Poker Classic freezeout 200 euros+20 euros. August 15th, 2008-150,000 euros guaranteed main event freezeout (three days) 1,500 euros+100 euros.

August 16th, 2008-WSOP Europe satellite-one rebuy/add-on one seat guaranteed five hundred euros+50 euros and August 17th, 2008-No Limit holdem scalp freezeout-one rebuy or one add-on 270 euros+30 euros +30 euros. The main event features a 15,000 chip starting stack with seventy-five minute blinds and Macau is guaranteeing eight slots at the mega bonus satellite on August 14th, 2008. Irish poker players should inquire with their local card clubs for the remaining live satellite poker events which will take place on the next ten days.
