The Dream Team Poker League to Take Place at the Bicycle Casino

The Dream Team Poker League and the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles, California are bringing the excitement and energy of Monday Night Football to the poker table. The newly launched Dream Team Poker League will be composed of a series of eleven weekly poker tournaments played in a team gaming format.

Every tournament will take place together with the Monday Night Football parties at the Bicycle Casino and the grand prize is money and tickets to SuperBowl XLIV at Miami's Dolphin Stadium on February 7th, 2010. The Dream Team scoring system permits players to compete on an individual basis while getting points as a team.

The Poker League will use a one-of-a kind leaderboard scoring system to assess the progress of each team throughout the eleven-week league season. Bicycle Casino manager Zaven Esmaili said that they are very excited to combine Dream Team Poker into their Monday Night Football Parties and Poker Tournaments.

Esmaili said that they think that it is a perfect match with Monday Night Football and the sports team idea and they think that gamers will like playing with their friends as a team in an event that gives them a lot of chances to win. Entry into each poker event will cost $67 per person or $201 per three-person team.

The league begins on October 19th, 2009 and will run through until December 28th, 2009. The Bicycle Casino will also play host to the first event "Ho Ho No-Limit Holdem Dream Team Poker Main Event" on December 12th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the new event center of the Bicycle Casino. The buy-in cost is $420 per team, which works out to $140 per player.
