TASER Foundation for Fallen Officers in association with the Fort McDowell Casino in Arizona will be holding its 2nd Annual Playin the Hand poker tournament. The event, slated to take place December 9, 2006 will be hosted by poker legend and 10-time world series of poker winner, Phil Hellmuth.
'We are thrilled to bring Phil Hellmuth back for our second annual poker fundraiser,' said Gerry Anderson, TASER Foundation Executive Director.
'Phil Hellmuth is a huge draw and anyone who watches the World Series of Poker knows that he brings his A-game to play. We couldn't be happier to provide such a unique opportunity for the community to support the families of fallen officers who have tragically lost their lives in the line of duty, as 100% of the net proceeds go directly to the families.'
'This year we are offering a full complement of a variety of options for general buy-ins, high roller and VIP levels for playing in the tournament or becoming a corporate sponsor. Our High Roller and VIP entry levels will provide celebrity treatment as we raise money and awareness for the families of fallen officers,' added Anderson.
TASER Foundation exists to provide financial contributions to the families of law enforcement officers.
