The Nine Players for the 2008 WSOP Main Event Final Table

On July 17th, 2008, the final table for the world series of poker has already been decided. The media will have more time to know the background of the final "November Nine" players until the final table on November 2008. Among the finalists, four different countries will be represented. The United States has the most number of players in the final event with five. Two poker players from Canada have made the WSOP final table.

There is also a player from Denmark and a player from Russia in the group. In an astonishing occurrence, there are no players from the Asian continent in the final table. The chip leader leading to final table of the WSOP main event works as a salesman. He practices his skills at his local casino about four times a week. His total chip count is 26,295,000. Ivan Demidov of Russia is on second place with 24,400,000.

There are few professional poker players left in the playing field, but there are also some likely other players. A college student and a chess player are also participating in the final table on November. The champion of the event will win a WSOP bracelet as well as $9.1 million in cash prizes.
