The Third Day of the EPT London

On September 29th, 2007, about 40 players returned to the Grosvenor Victoria casino for the 3rd day of the Pokerstars European poker Tour London.

About 100 players failed to make the cut. Play was suspended at 8:30 p.m. 32 players would get their pay-out with player finishers up to 25th place getting 8,153 dollars.

The champion of the tournament will take home $611,520 and the runner-up of the event will take home $346,528 . Erik Friberg from Sweden, who made the final table at the world series of poker 2006, was the first one to bust out.

Other casualties during that day included Richard Ashby and Shane Reihill. Carlo Citrone finished in 33rd place, Marc Goodwin finished in 29th place, Ben Grundy finished in 21st place, Roland De Wolfe finished in 19th place, Chris Moneymaker in 17th place and Alan Smurfit finished in 16th place. Pascal Perrault was booted out of competition by countryman Anthony Lellouche.

The final table was composed of Florian Langmann from Germany with $927,000 in total chips, Joseph Mouawad from Lebanon with $780,000 in total chips, Marcel Baran from Germany with $583,000 in total chips, Josh Egan from New Zealand with $477,000 in total chips, Anthony Lellouche from France with $466,000 in total chips, Paul Mendes from England with $282,000 in total chips, Ian Cox from England with $234,000 in total chips and Fredrik Haugen from Sweden with $190,000 in total chips.
