ilikeaces86 wins the FTOPS VII Shorthanded No Limit Holdem Event

On February 14th, 2008, the Full Tilt Online Poker Series VII (FTOPS) was designated as a shorthanded no-limit hold'em poker tournament that allows rebuys and a costly $300 rebuy promise for a field player area. All of the 1,361 participants paid the initial $300 buy-in for the 12th poker event in the Full Tilt Online Poker Series and those gamblers placed up 2,148 rebuys and 782 add-ons into the cash pot to produced a total cash prize pool of $1,287,300, thirty percent more than guaranteed in the game.

One of the poker pros that represented Full Tilt Poker was Erick Lindgren who posted good results. He followed his triumph in event No. 9, with a good showing, eventually finishing in thirty-eight place and taking home $3,862. The final table came down with Danny "THE_D_RY" Ryan against ilikeaces86 for the $257,460 heads up showdown.

Danny Ryan finished in 2nd place with $169,923. Ilikeaces86 won the first place cash prices, a gold FTOPS jersey and an FTOPS jersey avatar. The next featured events are the $200 rebuy tournament with a $100,000 guaranteed cash pool which begins at 2:00 p.m. The second event is $300 buy in razz event with a guaranteed cash pool of $150,000 which begins at 9:00 a.m.
