Player Donhaka Wins FTOPS V Limit Holdem Poker Event

The Full Tilt Online poker Series or FTOPS V $200 buy-in cost $200,000 guaranteed sixhanded limit holdem poker event was held on August 18th, 2007. It is the single holdem event in the FTOPS series.

Limit holdem tournaments are usually joined by a limited number of players, but the event managed to surpass their guarantee prize when about 1,171 players paid the buy-in cost to produce a cash pool of $234,200.

Eddy Scharf from Full Tilt Poker managed to move into the latter stages of the tournament before bowing out in 10th place. Scharf won $3,396.

The other poker players who have made it to the latter stages are Tim "cane3418" Seidensticker, who finished in the 8th place with $4,848, Michael "castellimich" Castelli, who finished in 11th place with $2,459s, ShiP ThA LooT, who finished in 16th place with $1,499 and Gabriel "yellowhat" Nassif, who finished in 19th place with $1,241. Donhaka and pokerandmadden ended up in a heads up showdown in the finals of the tournament.

Donhaka won in the end and took home $47,894 dollars aside from a gold FTOPS jersey avatar. pokerandmadden finished in 2nd place with $31,617, jaybert99 finished in 3rd place with $22,249, sacker finished in 4th place with $16,628, loveBlinds finished in 5th place with $11,944 and ez_straight finished in 6th place with $7,846.

The next event is the $600,000 two day no-limit poker event together with a $2,500 buy-in +$120 registration fee and a $200,000 pot limit Omaha poker event with rebuys. The tournament has a $100 buy-in cost with $9 registration fee.
