Player Round42 Wins Event #7 of the FTOPS V

On August 14th, 2007, the $1,000 dollars buy-in costs poker tournament have been popular online recently. The $1,000 buy-in Monday poker tournament on Full Tilt has always lived up to its reputation, influencing the $1,000 buy-in Super Tuesday poker event on PokerStars, which has enjoyed similar success.

So it is not a surprise that the event number seven poker tournament of the FTOPS or the Full Tilt Online Poker Series V, the $1,000 buy-in shorthanded no-limit Texas Hold'em tournament was a success. About 1,282 players participated in the event, producing a cash pool of $1,282,000, more than the $1 guaranteed for the event.

Poker player and Full Tilt sponsored player J.J. Liu made it to the last stages of the tournament before finishing in 10th place, taking home $18,589.

Well-known Internet players like Frank "Round42" Rusnak, Himclip85 and Smokinokun (who is the champion of the shorthanded no-limit event in the FTOPS III) made it to the final table. These three players made it in the top three before Smokinokun finished in 3rd place with $121,790.

Round42 Rusnak defeated Himclip85 in the heads-up showdown to take home $262,169. Aside from that, Round42 won a gold FTOPS jersey avatar.

The final line-up in the event were Frank "Round42" Rusnak, who won $262,169, Himclip85, who won $173,070, Smokinokun, who won $121,790, Fixhult, who won $91,022, JSchnett, who won $65,382 and Pot Odds 3, who won $42,947.

The next event will be the $200 buy-in cost with $16 registration fee Omaha eight or better tournament at 9:00 p.m. ET. Those players that are interested to join can just log-in at Full Tilt to know the details.
