Hollywood Actress Camryn Manheim Hosts Charity Poker Event for the Childrens Institute

Actress Camryn Manheim is hosting a charity poker event and some of the biggest names in Hollywood are buying in the event. Happening at the Commerce Casino in California on October 17th, 2009, the charity poker event has already attracted the attention of Hollywood celebrities like Jennifer Love Hewitt, Neil Patrick Harris, Dean Cain, Maria Bello, Kevin Nealon, Jamie Kennedy, Mekhi Phifer, Kevin Nealon, Cheryl Hines, JK Simmons and many more.

Proceeds from the events will go to the Children's Institute, which gives assistance to more than seventeen thousand traumatized children in the area of Los Angeles. 2006 world series of poker Main Event champion Jamie Gold will act as the host of the event.

Poker enthusiasts are welcome to buy-in the charity poker event and mingle with their favorite celebrities while getting the chance to win different kinds of prizes. The buy-in cost is $250 with rebuys of $100 available throughout the first three levels and one final $100 add-on.

Spectator slots are also available for $75. There will be prizes for the top ten finishers, including $5,000 cash, a 2010, World Poker Celebrity Invitational Seat, a business-class computing system and a whole lot more.
