Card Player & WPT Will Cover the Legends of Poker Tournament beginning on 25/8/07

After an eventful month, the poker circuit assembled this Saturday, August 25th, 2007 at the Bicycle Casino for the 1st-A day of the world poker tour Legends of Poker event. Card Player covered the poker action as the new media partner of the World Poker Tour. Card Player will give live tournament news, videos and others from the $10,000 buy-in poker event. There will be also a live update for the final table of the tournament.

The 1st-B day of the tournament will take place the following day, August 26th, 2007. The remaining players will play on August 27th, 2007. The preliminaries will begin at 2:00 p.m. PDT. The remaining players will fight it out in a televised tournament during the 3rd and 4th day of the tournament on August 28th, 2007 and August 29th, 2007.

The final table for the six remaining players will be held on August 30th, 2007 and will start at 5:00 p.m. PDT. The tournament team from Card Player and the World Poker Tour will be teaming up to give poker enthusiasts the most complete online coverage.

The World Poker Tour Legends of Poker event is the first big event after the wsop Main Event. Aside from that, the Card Player Player of the Year race is getting interesting as David Pham, Jared Hamby, James Van Alstyne and Bill Edler have started to close the points on J.C. Tran. This development will make the poker circuit even more interesting.
