First Participant Found for the Calvin Ayre Wild Card Poker II Tournament

On April 28, 2007, the first participant of the 12 participants needed for season II of the Calvin Ayre Wild Card Tournament was determined. The first participant for the poker challenge was chosen on a satellite tournament held by an online poker site.

The first participant defeated around 150 participants to earn his place on the Calvin Ayre Wild Card Tournament show. The poker tournament brought top 5 poker players from 30 different qualifying tournaments.

While one player walks away with the chance to participate at the Wild Card Poker II Tournament, the other players also got great prizes, ranging from a trip for 2 to Antigua to a poker table and a flat screen television.

All that needs to be done is to find the 11 other participants for the shows. Those interested in joining the event have until Sunday, May 6, 2007 to submit their one-minute audition video or a photo.

Once all of the participants have been chosen, all of them will get an all-expense paid trip to B.C., Canada where they will compete in the tournament and have the chance to win the $2 million cash prize.

The Calvin Ayre Wild Card Tournament season II will begin taping in the summer of 2007 and will air during the fall of 2007.
