WPT Grand Prix de Paris Featured 3 EverestPoker.com Contest Winners

Montral, Quebec --- Three players were sent by Everest Poker to Paris to compete in one of the stops on the World Poker Tour, the Grand Prix de Paris. The three players are Asheru from France, abbas23 from Germany, and Gabatch from France. All three won in Everest poker's Direct Entry Satellite for the WPT Grand Prix de Paris. Each of the three bagged the 10,000 Euro buy-in for the event and $800 spending money prize package.

Asheru and gabatch continued on with the game after abbas23 was eliminated in the first round. Asheru however was eliminated on the second round battle after his pair of aces hand was beaten by a three of kings. Gabatch managed to hold on and near the end of the day was on 28th place. Gabatch needed to get through another elimination round before he could walk away with guaranteed prize money. However his efforts was not enough as he was eliminated after losing to a flush.

But the Frenchman was still ecstatic despite the loss. He viewed simply being in the game as enough reward in itself. "Thanks to Everest Poker for letting us live our dream!" he gushed.

"Our players' competitive level just keeps improving," said Sandrine Dubois, Everest Poker's French Marketing Manager. "They're starting to become a force on the live tournament circuit, and we look forward to having one of them win the Grand Prix de Paris someday!"
