PokerStars announced on May 12th, 2010 the dates and locations for the season 7 of the European Poker Tour (EPT). The current EPT schedule consists of twelve poker tournament stops and there will be a new stop in Tallinn, Estonia on August 11th, 2010-August 16th, 2010 to start the season.

Tallinn was the previous host location for the PokerStars Baltic Festival in October 2009 and more than three hundred players participated in the tournament.

John Duthie, the Chief Executive Officer and EPT founder said that the tour just keeps getting bigger and bigger every season and it only shows the growing interest in the game all over the world. He added that the side poker events also proved to be a crowd drawer in season 6 and they expect a bigger participation in these events this season.

Some popular new poker events from season 6 are offered on the new season schedule for another run. The well-known gold destination in Vilamoura, Portugal will be the location for the second event of season 7 on August 28th, 2010-September 2nd, 2010. EPT Snowfest will take place in late March 2011 at Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Austria.

EPT Berlin will also take place in 2011 and it has been move from the beginning of March to April 2010. Poker events from season 6 that are not being offered in season 7 include EPT Kiev and Warsaw, which attracted 296 poker players and 203 poker players respectively.

EPT favorites that are in season 7 schedule include Prague, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Deauville, San Remo and the Festivals of Poker that will take place in the English capital and at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA). The same poker tournament structure that was utilized for season 6 will be use again in season 7.
