The Celebrities at the 2010 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure

Aside from the warm weather and clear blue waters of the Caribbean ocean, the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) at the Atlantis Hotel and Casino lured a host of A-list stars in the Bahamas on January 8th, 2010.

Guitar legend Slash, who joined a host of well-known celebrities, sports superstars and members of Team PokerStars Pro in the amFAR and PokerStars charity event at the PCA, said that he is not going to quit his day job but he really loves playing poker and he thinks that his poker skills are getting better.

RandB superstar Kelly Rowland just picked up the game but spent the whole day before her performance at an exclusive PokerStars party held at the Atlantis Hotel and Casino. Rowland said that she plans to watch the poker pros like a hawk so she can go back to Houston and play with her friends.

Model and actress Joanna Krupa participated on the PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge this season and was appointed the TV hostess for the brand new PokerStars North American Poker Tour this week. Krupa said that she hopes to play with poker pros Daniel Negreanu and Joe Cada so that she can learn new tricks for her game.

2008 Playboy Playmate of the Year Jayde Nicole participated in the main event at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, sharing the poker felt with 2009 world series of poker (WSOP) Main Event champion Joe Cada on Day 1. She said that she started playing poker about four months ago and found the playing field in the Bahamas a little daunting.

Both Jayde Nicole and Joanne Krupa said that the poker pros that they have met in the tournament have offered them a few tips on the game but Slash's experience has been very different. Slash said that the poker pros in the tournament do not talk to him but that is fine with him. He added that they have a couple of home poker games that are mostly composed of rock people and he cleaned a couple of times.
