Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split 8, Event#16 and Event#13 Results at the 2010 WSOP

One of the most popular poker events at the 2010 WSOP (world series of poker) reached its conclusion on June 9th, 2010, Wednesday, and it was not well-known poker players John Juanda or Jennifer Harman that won the title.

Frank Kassela, who is from Memphis, Tennessee, managed to outwit Juanda and Harman to take home the Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split 8 bracelet. Harman had been the chip leader for quite some time in the event, but the cards did not help her cause in the home stretch. On the other hand, Kassela played intelligently and went home with the 1st place cash prize of $447,446 dollars.

Allan Kessler was also able to outwit Harman, who finished in 3rd place. The Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split 8 event had a total of 170 participants. The buy-in cost for the tournament was 410,000 dollars and the competition among the participants was very fierce until the final card hand.

Kassela executed a two pair on the 5th street and then the card hand managed to hold up against 8's and 10's. Poker pro Carter Phillips was another of the winners on Wednesday. Phillips outwitted 1,633 other participants in Event#16, a No-Limit Hold'em/Six Handed event.

The 1st place cash prize was $492,774 dollars. Samuel Gerber finished in 2nd place, taking home $298,726 dollars. Event#13, a $1,000 dollars buy-in cost, No-Limit Hold'em event concluded with Steven Glee winning the bracelet.
