
On May 29, 2007, Erica "The Poker Babe" Schoenberg played against Anna "The Poker Pixie" Wroblewski in a heads-up match to determine the winner of the $2,500 buy-in cost preliminary tournament at the Mandalay Bay Poker Tournament.
Both female poker players fought their way up in a field of 118 poker players, which was mainly composed of male poker players for the chance to take home the $105,875 first place prize. Wroblewski would eventually lose to Schoenberg's outstanding skills at the game of poker.
No beginner with final table finishes in most poker tournaments, 29 year-old Erica Schoenberg, who is currently dating poker pro David Benyamine, previously finished in 16th place at the 2006 World Poker Tour World Championship Tournament.
She also finished in 4th place at the 2006 WPT Ladies Night Out. On the other hand, Anna Wroblewski, debuted on the poker circuit last month at the Bellagio Five Star World Poker Classic, finishing first at the $3,000 buy-in cost tournament. In addition, she has finished in 16th place at the $2,000 buy-in event and finished in 70th place at the $10,000 main event.
Wroblewski takes home a total of $71,540 for her runner-up finish at the Mandalay Bay Poker Tournament, raising her tournament earnings to $481,303. Also, the WPT Mirage Poker Showdown Champion, Jonathan Little, finished in 9th place.
