Brackett said that the residence were located in a high school class area. The raid was conducted around 9:30 p.m. that day while the high-stakes poker game was already in progress. The raid was a result of a 6 month surveillance that was conducted by the police officers in the area.
The players in the game had to log-in online and register their participation to receive an invitation to come and play. Some of the suspects were still holding their cash and some poker chips when the officers raided the house. The 2 women who were hired to serve the refreshments were also arrested.
Police Officers began investigating the area after the people in the neighborhood complained about the traffic in the area. Aside from the money that was confiscated by police officers, they also confiscated 20 cars. The suspects will be charged with misdemeanors.
