The Schedule of the World Series of Poker Events for 2008-2009 Season

On July 9th, 2008, the world series of poker just released the schedule for their 2008-2009 season, which takes place at casinos that Harrah's owns all over the United States. The high-stakes poker event gives poker players of all skill levels the chance to play on a regional basis in different poker events that includes a chance to get a slot in the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Jeffrey Pollack, the Commissioner of the World Series of Poker commented that participating on the WSOP circuit tournaments is the best way to polish your skills as poker player. He added that they are continuing to polish their events so that players will have a great time while participating on the tournaments.

Caesars Indiana will launch their 2008-2009 World Series of Poker Circuit on October 2nd, 2008 while Harrah's New Orleans will close out their 2008-2009 poker circuit with their event on May 8th, 2009. WSOP circuit stops will be on Harrah's property in Hammond (Chicago), Lake Tahoe (Nevada), Atlantic City(New Jersey), Tunica (Mississippi), Council Bluffs (Iowa), Rincon (Southern California), Las Vegas and New Orleans (Mississippi).
