Bodog Poker is giving their players the opportunity to participate in the Scandinavian Open in Copenhagen, Denmark. Tournament qualifiers have already started at the Bodog Poker and players can win a slot at the European Poker Tour for as little as $1.
About four main satellite events will be held by Bodog Poker and the winner for each satellite event will get $10,000 as part of the European Poker Tour package and $2,000 for travel accommodations.
Calvin Ayre, the founder of Bodog Entertainment said that poker is already considered a lifestyle by most players and this is a good chance for the players of Bodog in Europe to get a good chance to experience the high life. He added that they will be taking the Bodog players to one of the oldest kingdoms in the continent to compete with the top poker players in Europe and they are confident that they will be able to duplicate the success of their previous satellite winners.
The 2008 Scandinavian Open will take place on February 19th, 2008-February 23rd, 2008 at the Casino Copenhagen. About 400 players participated in the open poker tournament this year with Swedish Bodog Poker player Magnus Petersson winning the top prize along with the $706,504 in cash prize.
