The Ross Powers Foundation Texas Hold'em poker tournament was held on May 6, 2007 at Jakes Marketplace Cafe located in the Londonberry Shopping Center.
The poker tournament started around 4:00 p.m. The cash prizes were 50% of the total entry fees by the participants and the remaining 50% went to the Ross Powers Foundation. Aside from the cash bar, snacks were provided for the participants.
The buy-in cost for the this tournament of the game of poker was around $75 plus a $50 re-buy option which players could use one time. The buy-in cost could be paid during the registration period either by cash or check.
The Ross Power Foundation is a charitable organization which helps athletes with their financial problems. The organization also helps players get the chance to train abroad and compete at a much higher level.
