The Last Qualifying Event for the PartyPoker Million Cruise

On March 16th, 2008, it is the last opportunity for gamblers to grab a spot at the PartyPoker Million event through one of the satellite events of PartyPoker. The final satellite event will start at exactly 4:15 p.m., giving poker players the chance at winning a slot in the PartyPoker Million VI cruise which will start on May 3rd, 2008 and will end on May 9th, 2008. The prize for the poker tournament includes the $8, 200 buy-in expenses for the tournament, the $2,700 for travel and accommodation expenses and the $1,100 in pocket money.

The PartyPoker Million cruise will start from Venice, Italy. It will also make stops in Bari and Olympia and Katakolon in Greece, Izmir and Istanbul in Turkey and Dubrovnik in the country of Croatia before returning to Italy. Participants will be able to get the chance to win $1 million. Some of the previous champions of the PartyPoker Million tournament include Kathy Liebert, Howard Lederer, Erick Lindgren, Michael Gracz and Mike Schneider.

The inaugural PartyPoker Million was a first for the poker circuit because it is the very first Texas Holdem event to feature $1,000,000 in prizes. It was also the very first event to directly combine players who paid the buy-in expenses with those players that qualified on the Internet qualifiers. At least five prize rewards for the poker event will be awarded at the final satellite event and PartyPoker will be rewarding a prize package for every twenty participants in the satellite event.
