PokerStars UKIPT Heads to Nottingham

The PokerStars UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) is heading to Nottingham and bringing a group of well-known poker players along for the trip. The five hundred pounds+sixty pounds poker tournament will be on May 12th, 2010-May 17th, 2010 at the Dusk Till Dawn poker club and PokerStars is guaranteeing a one hundred thousand pounds prize pool.

Team PokerStars UK and Ireland Pros Vicky Coren, Julian Thew, Jude Ainsworth and two-time WSOP (world series of poker) bracelet winner JP Kelly are all expected to participate in the tournament. Aside from that, EPT (European Poker Tour) San Remo winner Liv Boeree will also participate in the tournament, hoping to repeat her successful run in Italy.

Retired Nottingham Forest footballer and new friend of PokerStars Teddy Sheringham is also participating in the tournament as is European Poker Tour Host Michelle Orpe. Six days worth of side poker event have also been added to the tournament schedule, including a 100 pounds+12 pounds Ladies Event.

Professional Snowboarder Zoe Gillings is confirmed for the event. There will also be a special 50pounds+6 pounds one-day bounty event with PokerStars adding a UKIPT winner's choice prize package to the money pool. Online satellite events are running now for UK and Ireland Poker Tour Nottingham on PokerStars.
