PokerStars.net LAPT Season 3 to Return to Brazil

In just a few months, the PokerStars.net LAPT (Latin American Poker Tour) will be making a triumphant return to Brazil. The next LAPT Season 3 will take place in Florianopolis, the capital of Santa Catarina in Brazil on August 4th, 2010-August 8th, 2010.

Veja, a Brazilian weekly news magazine, named Florianopolis as the best city to live in Brazil and for poker players visiting there this coming August 2010 it could be the most financially rewarding too.

Brazilian Team PokerStars Pro Andre Akkari said that he is very happy that the LAPT will be returning to Brazil again for its Season 3. He said that he is sure that a lot of players will enjoy playing at Florianopolis.

The poker event takes place at the Costao do Santinho resort on the northern portion of Santa Catarina Island, alongside the beautiful Santinho beach, which are frequented by a lot of sunbathers as well as fishermen. The resort features a sports and sailing facility, golf course and the biggest complex of outdoor and indoor thermal pools in Brazil.
