
The fourth annual PokerStars Caribbean Adventure at the Atlantis Resort and Casino in Paradise Island in the Caribbean has been set for January 5-10, 2007.
Amateur and professional poker players will be going head to head for the chance to take home a slice of the estimated $6 million prize pool.
The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure will take place over a period of 6 days, and it promises to be a showcase of the best talents in poker. The tournament will crown its winner on January 10th.
The final table will feature 6 players, an exciting set which the world poker tour is set to film. The special will be televised on the Travel Channel on June 6, 2007.
750 players will have to do their best to bump each other out of the poker tournament. Some of the brightest stars in poker will be present at the event, including world series of poker and World Poker Tour champions Joe Hachem, Chris Moneymaker, Barry Greenstein, Humberto Brenes, and Tom McEvoy.
Celebrities, like former Saturday Night Live star Norm MacDonald and actress Mimi Rogers will also be at the event. The 2 are known to be avid poker players.
