PokerNews Cup Australia Event To Be Held on Crown Casino

On July 23rd, 2008, PokerNews and Full Tilt Poker have collaborated together to host the $30,000 PokerNews Cup Australia giving players from all over the world the opportunity to join a high-level poker tournament. PokerNews' flagship event returns to Melbourne, Australia at the Crown Casino on October 12th, 2008 and will end on October 20th, 2008 and will showcase eight exciting poker event for players with different skill levels. Players can also enjoy the different sites of Melbourne in between play.

Full Tilt poker is showcasing a good opportunity for players to win their slot to this event with $65,000 PokerNews Cup Australia Freerolls. Each $5,000 PokerNews Cup Australia package will showcase buy-in costs to the Main Event ($2,200) six nights hotel accommodation at the Crown Promenade Hotel, $1,500 for travel and an invitation to attend a party with PokerNews players.

All of the 6 freerolls will start at 19:30 EST/20:30 EDT on the following days: July 25th, 2009(earn one hundred Full Tilt Poker Point between July 11th, 2008-July 24th, 2008, EST), August 8th, 2008(earn one hundred Full Tilt Poker Points between July 25th, 2008-August 7th, 2008, EST), August 22nd, 2008(earn one hundred Full Tilt Poker Points between August 8th, 2008-August 21st, 2008, EST) and on September 5th, 2008(earn one hundred Full Tilt Poker points between August 22nd-September 4th, 2008 EST).

The final freeroll will showcase two package giveaways to the top two finishers with a $5,000 PokerNews Cup Australia Package each. This freeroll will begin on September 19th, 2008. Players must earn one hundred fifty Full Tilt Poker points between September 5th, 2008 up to September 18th, 2008(EST) to qualify.
