Poker Tournament To Be Hosted By APAT

The Amateur poker Association and Tour (APAT), in cooperation with PokerStars.com, announced the details of its premier UK based poker event, Thursday, Nov 2.

The APAT United Kingdom Amateur Poker Championship will take place over two days, as hosted by Aspers Casino, located in Newcastle, on Dec 2 and 3. Interested parties may purchase seats online at APAT.com beginning Nov. 4. Entry to the tournament is open exclusively to APAT members.

The tournament can accommodate 210 entrants and is expected to draw in some of the best poker players in the UK. Players will be vying for a GBP75,000, for only GBP75 entry fee. The winner for the APAT poker tourney will receive a substantial cut from the prize money, the Silver Challenge Cup, and a sponsored tournament package entry to the world series of poker 2007 to be held in Las Vegas.
