Poker Run For Rehabilitation

Sunday, Oct. 29 will see a flyover by a military helicopter and a freestyle by a motocross group that will highlight "Thunder in the House", a fundraising event at Casa Colina Centers for Rehabilitation.

The event will begin at 9:30 with a 90-minute poker run that will start at Casa Colina that will continue on to Mt. Baldy, then over to Pomona Valley Harley Davidson in Montclair, and eventually returning to the starting point. Cash prizes await participants who will have the best hand and the low hand.

The event will continue on the grounds of Casa Colina 11 a.m., where it will be graced by the March Field Honor Guard and the flyover by the Army Delta Company 7150 Aviation Division's Blach Hawk chopper. Motorcycle group Metal Mulisha will also provide live performance.

Live music, barbecue, lunch, a beer garden, bike show, opportunity prizes and a raffle featuring a Harley Davidson Street Glide motorcycle are just some of the things that are offered in the event. Visitors can enter the motorcycle raffle for $10.

Tickets for the event are priced at $35 for couples and $20 for singles. Tickets will also be sold at the door Saturday.

The funds raised at the event will benefit the rehabilitation services for military personnel, veterans, police officers, firefighters and other civil servant who need financial aid in their care.
