The $2,000 buy-in cost No Limit Holdem poker champion is Alexandre Gomes. Gomes is a twenty-five year old poker player from Curitiba, Brazil. Gomes is the first poker player from Brazil to ever win a World Series of Poker gold bracelet. Poker player Edwin Moncada had roots in Bolivia when he won his first WOSP bracelet in 2005 but Moncada possess a U.S. citizenship. Gomes won a total of $770,448.
