PartyPoker and Matchroom Sport to Host PartyPoker.com Poker Den: The Big Game III

On August 15th, 2008, PartyPoker and Matchroom Sport issued a statement announcing the upcoming PartyPoker.com Poker Den: The Big Game III, which will happen in London on September 30th, 2008 and October 1st, 2008. A number of poker tournament players from previous Poker Den Big Games have already confirmed their participation on the event like Andrew Feldman, Brian Townsend, David Ulliott, Jamie Gold and others. A number of new faces will also participate including Jennifer Tilly, Phil Laak, John Tabatabai, Mike Matusow and others.

The minimum buy-in cost for the Poker Den Big Game will be $10,000 and players will need to buy-in for at least $50,000. The Blinds will start at $25 /$50, but experience has shown that the poker professionals would soon want to increase the stakes. It will be up to tournament director

Marty Wilson's decision on any changes in the tournament. PartyPoker will also contribute to the action with PartyPot, a $1000 bonus to be given out every hour in a particular hand. The organizers of the event-Matchroom Sport and PartyPoker-are looking forward to the event.

The Head of Online Gaming at Matchroom Sport, Eddie Hearn commented that the Poker Den has come a long way since they have begun in 2005. He said that they have high expectations for the event and hope that players will enjoy the tournament.
