PartyPoker to Give Prize Packages for the WPT LA Poker Classic Event

PartyPoker is giving its poker players one last opportunity to qualify for the world poker tour (WPT) LA Poker Classic and part of a $1 million bonus on February 5th, 2010. The packages are worth $14,000 and include the $10,000 buy-in, seven nights' accommodation and $2,500 spending money.

However, if a PartyPoker online qualifier wins the poker tournament, there will be a big $1 million payout with $500,000 going to the winner and $500,000 divided among all other PartyPoker qualifiers. Qualifiers start from $3 and there are daily freerolls into the sub-qualifiers running until February 7th, 2010.

The final main $700 + $50 LAPC weekly qualifier takes place on February 14th, 2010 at 2:15 p.m. ET, where one $14,000 package will be given for every twenty poker players and at least two packages guaranteed.

PartyPoker ambassador and World Poker Tour commentator Mike Sexton said that the PartyPoker packages are appealing to anyone who wants to participate in the LA Poker Classic. He said that the $1 million payout if an online poker qualifier wins the Main Event offers excellent value. He added that even if a player busts out early and one of their fellow qualifiers wins the event, they will still go home with their share of the $500,000 cash prize.
