The 2010 WSOP (world series of poker) has arrived and casino workers from all over the world have started to converge in Las Vegas, Nevada for the annual tournament. The casino employees will start off the poker festivities on May 28th, 2010 with a five hundred dollars buy-in tournament.

The first weekend of the World Series of Poker this year is filled with numerous events for both poker players and spectators. Poker enthusiasts will convene on the Rio Hotel and Casino on May 29th, 2010, Saturday, for a No-Limit Holdem tournament that offers a $1,000 dollars buy-in. On May 30th, 2010, Sunday, the first Omaha Hi-Low Split-Eight or Better will start.

The tournament offers a $1,500 dollars buy-in and will run through June 1st, 2010. As the World Series of Poker heads into the following week, many poker tournaments will start to overlap with one another. For spectators, the poker event to follow this weekend is The Poker Player's Championship.

The tournament is a five day event and features different poker variations rolled into one tournament. The buy-in for this one-of-a kind event is $50,000 dollars and most of the top poker pros will be participating in the event.
