Montel Williams Organizes Poker Event for Multiple Sclerosis Research

On March 13th, 2008, Montel Williams gathered poker enthusiasts and celebrities in a poker bash to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Research. Williams, who has been a host with CBS for almost seventeen years has combined the glamour of Hollywood life with the enjoyment of poker. Participants on the poker event will be able to enjoy themselves with the buffet as well as live music.

Robin Givens and Emme Aronson will be the host of the event. Some of the poker professionals that have confirmed their participation in the event are Annie Duke, Russ Hamilton, Freddy Deeb, Barbara Enright, Scott Fischman, Jamie Gold, Susie Isaacs, Karina Jett, Chip Jett, Mary Jones, Victor Ramdin, Marsha Waggoner and Robert Williamson III.

The Montel Williams poker event will also be available in a video pay per view that will give permission to anyone with a good broadband connection to participate in the event and experience a good poker game even if they are just watching from their own home. Poker enthusiasts can register for the pay per view video streaming for only just $9.95 beginning a half hour before the start of the event at 7:00 p.m.

Williams founded the Montel Williams MS Foundation, which focuses on the study and search for treatments and one day, cure to the MS illness. The foundation sets itself from others by giving one hundred percent of monetary contributions from people to the leading MS research institutions all over the world.
