Liv Boeree Wins the Ladbrokes European Ladies Tournament

If you ever think of playing Texas Holdem poker against the best female players of the European continent, then Absolute Poker is the place for you. Absolute Poker's British Ambassador, Liv Boeree, finished in the top position among a field of fifty-three participants in the Ladbrokes European Ladies Poker Tournament.

Liv said that she is really happy about her performance in the event and this win is a good thing for her confidence especially with the world series of poker fast approaching. The event was held on May 3rd, 2008 until May 4th, 2008 in London and showcase the best female players in the European circuit like World Series of Poker Europe Main Event champion Annette Obrestad. Liv Boeree received a trophy and $30,000 cash.

Boeree started her career in the circuit on the UltimatePoker.com Showdown back in August 2005. She learned a lot of valuable lessons from one of the best female poker players in the world, Annie Duke and caught the attention of Absolute Poker. In just two years, Liv was able to get several finishes in the top ten in Texas Holdem Events in London including numerous first place finishes.
