The Launch of the World Poker Association Website

On December 17th, 2007, with the improvement in access and online content for members and visitors, the official website of the World Poker Association (WPA) was launched. Poker enthusiasts can now check out the WPA site for brand new poker content with the improve navigation bar that makes it easier for players to go exactly where they want to in the site.

The user friendly online site of the WPA features a broader picture on how the World Poker Association works all over the world and represents poker players locally and abroad. It has also assumed the responsibility of promoting the highest standard of any poker competition all over the globe.

The official website of the WPA also offers its members a copy of the WPA's members' newsletter and feature news bulletin from important poker insiders. Members can also stay informed with the latest issues that are very important to poker players.

Annie Van Bebber, World Poker Association board member and website committee chairman is the WPA's digital head and the main consultant to the renovation of the WPA website. Bebber is also the main force behind the whole site.

Interested players can check out the WPA site for information about the 2008 world series of poker especially with the WPA's Super Satellite poker Tournament.
