The HHPTA at the Mohegan Sun Casino Facility

The High Heels Poker Tour Academy, the first all female poker teaching academy, is scheduled to take place on February 6th, 2009 until February 8th, 2009 at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut, USA with instructor Susie Isaacs. This is the very first all female poker academy and poker event to take place at Mohegan Sun and is part of their Winter Chill Series. Susie Isaacs is known for being the first female poker player to win back-to-back world series of poker ladies championships on 1996 and 1997.

In 1998, she placed tenth in the World Series of Poker $10,000 event vying for the $1,000,000 cash prize. Isaacs will offer her experiences and expertise in the game of poker to the participants. Aside from Susie Isaacs, the HHPTA has a number of other female poker players on their staff like Barbara Enright, JJ Liu, Karina Jett and others. The tuition to these academies is $1,295 and will include a free-roll into Sunday's High Heels Poker Tour Ladies Event. Participants will greatly benefit from the personal attention from the teachers and have a feedback on their performance from the instructors.

The next HPPTA academy after the Mohegan Sun event will take place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on March 6th, 2009 until March 7th, 2009. Participants will also receive giveaways and different prizes. The upcoming High Heels Poker Tour events include the Dania Jai-Alai event in Dania, Florida on January 17th, 2009, February 8th, 2009 at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville CT, February 13th, 2009 at the Mardi Gras Gamming in Hollywood, Florida and March 8th, 2009 at the Seminole Hard Rock and Resort in Hollywood, Florida.

The HHPT spring Schedule is bringing them to places like California, Nevada, Indiana, Louisiana, New York, Indiana, Louisiana, New York and Mississippi.
