Heads-Up Holds Canadian Poker Championships at the Deerfoot Inn and Casino

Heads-Up Entertainment Incorporated proudly announced that the 2008 Canadian Open Poker Championships will happen on March 5th, 2008-March 9th, 2008 at the Deerfoot Inn and Casino located in Canada. The tournament will have five poker events with a cash pool of more than 1.3 Canadian Dollars. The initial poker event will be considered as a non-profit event with about 5% of the cash pool being given to research about breast cancer. It will require players to pay the five hundred dollars buy-in expense.

It will also freeze out the poker event with an overall capacity of 250 players. The 2nd poker event or the main poker event will have a five thousand dollars buy-in expense, heads-up poker event with a main capacity of 128 poker players. Some top poker professionals and Hollywood celebrities have already signed up to attend the poker event which will be shown in Canada and all over the globe.

The 3rd poker event is a $1,500 buy-in expense, short handed poker event with a main capacity of 200 poker players. The 4th poker event is a one thousand dollars buy-in expense freezeout poker event and the 5th poker event of the tournament is also in a freezeout format. Both events expect a player turnout of three hundred players. All of the events are sanctioned by the state regulatory board.

The President and Chief Executive Officer Kelly B. Kellner commented that they are privileged and honored to be hosting the event at their casino. They are expecting a lot of poker players like Antonio Esfandiari, Nenad Medic and other to attend the event.
