The High Stakes Poker has improved the prizes for the 4th season of the widely popular poker show. The 4th season will have seven episodes and will have a buy-in cost of $500,000.
The High Stakes poker show will start on November 5th, 2007 with the participants competing for the chance to win the million dollars cash prize. Doyle Brinson has already committed to play in the event. Daniel Negreanu and Jamie Gold will also play in the event.
Negreanu has collected three world series of poker bracelets and is one of the best Full Tilt players in the planet. Jamie Gold became widely known after winning the biggest prize in WSOP history. Sammy Farha will also compete in the event.
Farha is a well-known poker player that has a lot of World Series of Poker bracelets. Finnish poker player Patrik Antonius will also play in the tournament. Barry Greenstein, who is the winner of the 2004 $5,000 No Limit Deuce to Seven Draw and the 2005 $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha. He is also well-known for giving most of his poker winnings to charities.
Antonio Esfandiari will also play in the High Stakes poker as well as David Benyamine. Cirque De Soleil Owner Guy Laliberte will also play in the tournaments. Laliberte plans to donate some of the money to the One Drop Foundation if he wins.
