European Masters of Poker Releases Schedule for its 2nd Season

The European Masters of Poker (EMOP) has released the schedule for its 2nd season on October 13th, 2009 including six 1,000 euros main events, a 1,500 euros grand final in Malta and a Mexican cruise getaway for the top sixteen poker players on the tour.

The EMOP's 1st season saw more than one thousand players participate in five poker events across Europe from February 2009-September 2009 with a total cash pool of 1.6 million euros.

Tournament organizers anticipate more than 1,400 players will attend the main events during the 2nd season, beginning with Ljubljana, Slovenia stop of the tour at the Grand Casino on November 25th, 2009-November 28th, 2009. EMOP product manager Christer Larsson said that players can expect a lot of new things with the EMOP season II especially with the new venues.

After Slovenia, EMOP season II continues with tournament stops in Warsaw, Poland, February 3rd, 2010-February 7th, 2010, Lisbon Portugal, March 25th, 2010-March 28th, 2010, Campione, Italy, May 27th, 2010-May 30th, 2010, Sunny Beach, Bulgaria, July 28th, 2010-August 1st, 2010, Barcelona, Spain, September 23rd, 2010-September 26th, 2010 and the grand final at the Casino di Venezia in Malta on November 17th, 2010-November 20th, 2010.

The top sixteen poker players on the leader board after the grand final in Malta will be invited on a poker cruise from Los Angeles, California to the Mexican Riviera with a private poker tournament for cash prizes on December 5th, 2010-December 12th, 2010.

Partners in the Entraction poker network like 24hPoker will send at least two hundred qualifiers to each poker event. Online qualification for the first poker event in Slovenia is already underway.
