The Details Regarding the Borgata Poker Open

On July 11th, 2008, the Borgata Casino has released the details of their 6th annual Borgata Poker Open, a sixteen day poker tournament event that will start on September 3rd, 2008 and will end on September 18th, 2008. The Borgata Poker Open will be compose of forty poker events and will culminate with a $10,000 buy-in cost world poker tour Borgata Poker Open Championship, a five day poker event with a guaranteed cash pool of $5 million and a minimum champion's share of $1,424,500.

The $5 million guaranteed cash pool is the biggest ever offered by a land-based casino facility. Larry Mullin, the President and Chief Operating Officer of Borgata said that from the start, they are committed in spreading poker throughout the world and this event is just one of the ways on how they can promote poker.

This will also ensure that they will continue to hold on to their position as the premier poker destination on the East Coast area. Interested individuals can reserve a slot for the Main Events on the Internet beginning on August 18th, 2008 until August 28th, 2008 and on-site registration by players for all of the events at the Borgata Poker Open will start on September 1st, 2008.
