The Coast to Coast Poker Will Begin on May 5th, 2008

The Coast to Coast Poker Championship will start on May 5th, 2008 and will end on May 13th, 2008 at the River Rock Resort and Casino with a $500 No-Limit Hold'em event. The series of poker tournaments will celebrate the debut of the world poker tour Canada, which is the extension of the U.S. based group. There will be seven events that will be held like No-Limit Hold'em, Pot-Limit Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha, which features different buy-ins. The Main Event, which has a $3,000 buy-in cost will be broadcasted in the country and by WPT Canada. Officials of the tournament said that the tournament will feature a $2.4 million cash pool.

Canadian-born poker players Brad Booth and Gavin Smith will participate in the event. World Poker Tour Spokesperson Antonio Esfandiari will also participate in the event. The 1st event on May 5th, 2008 will feature a $500 ($460 +$40) No-Limit Texas Holdem event with a 550 player slots. It will be a single day tournament. The 2nd event on May 6th, 2008 will feature a $220 ($200 +$20) C2C Super Satellite events.

There is a prize of $4,000 C2C package for every twenty participants. Each prize package will be composed of buy-in entries for Events three and four. The preliminaries for the 3rd event will be on May 7th until May 8th, 2008. The final table for the event will be On May 11th, 2008. It will feature a $1,000 buy-in cost ($920 +$80) No Limit Texas Holdem event with Bounties. You will also receive an additional $50 for every participant that you can edge out in the game and $1,000 if you will be able to eliminate guest players. It will have slots for 500 participants.

The 4th event or the Main Event will be on May 9th, 10th with the final table on May 11th, 2008. It will feature a $3,000 buy-in cost ($2,800 +$200) No Limit Texas Holdem. It only has limited slots for players that are interested to join the event. The 5th event is on May 11th, 2008 and will feature a $200 ($125 + $15 +$60) Mother's Day No Limit Texas Holdem Event and Brunch Team Event. Moms will participate in the odd level and their partners will participate in the even levels.

All teams will receive a pair of Mother's Day Brunch Tickets. It has 200 team slots. The 6th event is on May 12th, 2008 which will feature a $300 ($270 +$30) Pot Limit Holdem/Omaha. It will have three hundred players capacity. The 7th event will be on May 13th, 2008 which will feature a $300 ($270 +$30) No Limit Texas Holdem event and will have a three hundred players capacity.
