Cardinal7 is WCOOP Limit Holdem Poker Tournament Champion

On September 19th, 2007, the poker event number 7 of the PokerStars WCOOP, a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool limit holdem tournament with a $200 buy-in cost+$15 entry cost was held with Cardinal7 emerging as the winner of the event.

That prize pool guarantee was surpassed when 2,059 players participated in the event, producing a cash pool of $411,800, more than what PokerStars was guaranteeing players.

The first place winner is assured of taking home $81,000. The final 20 poker players include Aaron "011180" Kanter (who finished in 4th place at the 2005 wsop Main Event and currently in 10th position in the Card Player Online Player of the Year) and Chad "lilholdem954 Batista (currently in 3rd position in the Card Player Online Player of the Year).

ImaLuckSac, in the PokerStars weekly tournament, finished in 12th place with $2,347 while both 011180 and lilholdem954 made it to the final table of the tournament. O11180's run ended when he busted and eventually finished in 7th place with $9,760.

Lilholdem954 finished in 5th place with $18,407. Cardinal7 played against TheMasterJ33 in the heads-up showdown to win the tournament and take home $80,795. Cardinal7 also took home a WCOOP gold bracelet.

The order of the final results of the event were: 1st, Cardinal7, who won $80,795.16, 2nd, TheMasterJ33 who won $40,768.20, 3rd,PapaPapsilon who won $28,992.72, 4th, superbrono who won $23,992.72, 5th, Chad "lilholdem954" Batista who won $18,407.46, 6th, Itchy who won $13,877.66, 7th, Aaron "011180" Kanter who won $9,759.66, 8th, cfinn who won $6,053.46 and last but not least, Nirvana76 who won $3,623.84.
