The Battle for the 2008 World Series of Poker Final Table

The WSOP (world series of poker) is a long and arduous task that draws all of the big names in the poker circuit as well as the rising poker stars in Las Vegas. After giving out forty WSOP bracelets in past month, the Main Event has finally started on July 1st, 2008. The WSOP Main Event began with around 6,500 participants. The first 2 initial days of the event last almost a week and dropped almost half of the field.

The final table for the 2008 WSOP Main Event will soon be known and some well-known poker players are still hoping to make it to the final table. Some of these big name poker players are Phil Hellmuth and others. At one point, Hellmuth had a tough battle with fellow poker player Ramzi Jelazzi. Hellmuth told Jelazzi that when you went up against him, you should beat his cards and him. Jelassi did not fear the challenge, stating that he think he has the answer to beat Hellmuth's cards.

A few card hands later, Hellmuth folded to Jelassi with good cards. Upon choosing to fold, Phil Hellmuth revealed his cards and asked Jelassi if he could beat it. Jelassi revealed a four-five and commented that Hellmuth should not play his cards but him. That type of discussion continued throughout the day between the two players.
